Medusa Mini-Festivals
Three cities, six plays, new encounters with contemporary European playwriting.
The MEDUSA Mini-Festivals bring the project’s selected plays into public space. Taking place in Berlin, Naples and Sofia, they create opportunities for contemporary European playwriting to meet new audiences through staged readings, performances, conversations and encounters between playwrights, translators, artists and cultural professionals.
Each festival is shaped by its local context while remaining part of a shared transnational programme. Together, the three events explore how texts can travel across languages, theatrical traditions and cultural environments, opening new spaces for dialogue around identity, gender, belonging and contemporary European society.
